‘Cry of the Norwolf’ is a really entertaining read that I think would have broad appeal, especially to readers of Michelle Paver’s Wolf Brother series.
Charlotte Walker, A LOVEREADING4KIDS Ambassador The Winterscar Chronicles: 1 – Cry of the Norwolf represents the opening act of a succession of titles chronicling the story of 10-year-old Arkyn Ironshield, whose extraordinary connection with the natural world generates fear and resentment from within his own community.

Cry of the Norwolfby Ian Young
A unique and breathtakingly beautiful tale.
Whenever young Arkyn stumbles upon a wounded norwolf pup, everything changes.
Norwolves grow as big as a horse and live in the Frozen Forest, a place forbidden to Arkyn and his band of friends. But Arkyn’s encounter with the pup leads him to discover something about himself – a hidden power that might be even more dangerous than the norwolf itself. Cover illustration and black and white images inside by Ian Beck. Paperback £6.99
